John
Williamson, guitarist with the Animals, and Mike
Bowden, vocalist with the Roach Twins, have
combined their talent to present a set of new songs in an acoustic
setting.
The songs draw
influence from the worlds of folk, rock, country and jazz, while
remaining rooted in the blues.
The debut cd ‘Urban
Prairie Tales’ will be released in August, prior to an appearance
at Colne r’n b festival
The duo’s
entertaining live show … two guitars, two voices and a dollop of humour
has already been well received at both Skegness and Burnley Festivals.
Bowden and
Williamson are taking time out from their other commitments to showcase
this acoustic feast, and are available for dates from 14
December ‘08 to 24 February ‘09, although other dates in 2009 may
