Dave's road to
enlightenment has been a long but necessary one. Living in
Africa from the age of four, he spent his childhood
jamming with local musicians
on a home-made guitar. Whilst still at school, he could be
found hanging out and playing in bars
and nightclubs 'till the early
hours.
It all caught up with him one
night when a member of his educational establishment discovered
his passion for the blues. His home-made
guitar was ceremoniously
dismantled.
Dave left for the UK, where he
got lost in the financial pressures of married life in London..
Turning his hand to many different instruments
and many different genres of
music, he made a safe and respectable living. But all was not
well. His passion for the blues re-surfaced
and so ended
his marriage !
Dave left London to see the
world, playing anywhere he could, hotels; cruise-ships; bars;
night clubs and anywhere that would have him.
On his travels, he met his now
wife, best friend and soul mate, Janet, who happened to be a
great bass player and shared his love
of the blues.
