About Us
Our aim
here at Span-Arts in Narberth, is to serve a wide range of people in
Pembrokeshire with innovative and exciting live music and creative arts
activities. We are a community arts group which came into being in 1998
following the decline of Taf & Cleddau Arts, (started in 1986) to
continue the work of promoting arts events in Pembrokeshire on a
voluntary basis. We focus mainly on performance activities and community
celebrations.
Span-Arts provide a varied selection of community arts activities
ranging from
music,
dance
and arts performances to
workshops
in schools and training sessions. We work with children and young
adults, some of whom are at risk; care homes and disabled people of all
kinds on creative projects. Silk

experience of 21 years of programming arts events for adults and
children. Our performance programme at the Queens Hall Narberth, ranges
from Roots and world music through dance, theatre, storytelling and
poetry performance. Our promotions are included in the Queens Hall
brochure and always accompanied by the Span Arts logo
Past
achievements include 10 children's festivals since 1987 and a varied
programme attracting people from all areas of West Wales - and beyond!
We have also been part of the Fishguard Jazz Festival, Tenby Blues

opening of Narberth Castle in 2005. Since then we have held music and
outdoor theatre events at the castle in summer.
Our audiences come from many
different sections of society and all age ranges - check out photos from
some of our events on the
